Feb. 24, 2018 – The doctor, who specialized for nearly 40 years in anesthesiology and pain medicine, was accused of selling Oxycodone and Alprazolam, also known as Xanax, without a legitimate medical purpose to undercover operatives who visited his Victorville office … A search was served in his Victorville office in 2014, during which time he surrendered his medical license … The counts include five counts each of distributing Oxycodone and Xanax. The prescriptions were allegedly sold in 2013 in exchange for cash, “outside of the usual course of his professional practice and without performing any type of physical exam” officials said.  He did this in exchange for $200-$300 in cash from two undercover investigators with the California Medical Board and an informant. Street will face up to 20 years in prison for each of the five Oxycodone counts and up to five years each for the Alprazolam (Xanax).
